Spirit in Me
G. F. Mlely
Shifts between being
rhythmic and tri-tonal to lyrically waltzy, the words were first formed
in New York’s Central Park, following a rainstorm - everything still
wet and washed, the water settling in pools along the ground - seeming
to offer up hints to the meaning of life. We look at things about
us, pose the questions, and sometimes, often unwisely, we supply the
answers. It appears, though, that what we see in life is usually
according to the
spirit that resides within us.
NOTE
Each note of music is natural unless otherwise
indicated by an accidental or tied to an accidental.
